Roughrider Days Rodeo Dance
There will be a Rodeo Dance following the July 1 rodeo performance. Kyle Shobe & the Walk 'em Boys will be performing at the Roughrider/DSU Outdoor Arena beginning at 9 pm. In case of inclement weather the dance will be held at the Dickinson Recreation Center.
Admission: $5.00
Fan Appreciation Discount: Attend the Thursday and/or Friday PRCA Rodeo performances and receive your "Fan Appreciation Ticket". When presented at the Party in the Dirt, your admission is ONLY $2.00!!

4-H Division:
June 27, 2011- Non-Living Exhibits will be shown from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm MDT at the Badlands Activity Center.
June 28, 2011 - Non-Living Exhibits will be shown from 10:00 am - 8:00 pm MDT at the Badlands Activity Center.
4-H Horse Show will take place at the DSU Outdoor Arena at 9:00 am MDT. Area youth will participate with their horses in events such as Trail Class, Western Riding Class, Halter Class, Reining Class and speed events at the end of the day.
June 29, 2011 - Non-Living Exhbits will be shown from 10:00 am - 8:00 pm at the at Badlands Activity Center.
Rabbit and Poultry Show - 4:00 pm MDT, DSU Indoor Arena. Come see the unusual breeds of rabbits and poultry, that include exotic ducks and chickens!
Dog and Pet Show - 7:00 pm MDT, DSU Indoor Arena. This show is a non-competative event for the 4-H Youth.
June 30, 2011 - Non-Living Exhibits will be shown from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm at the Badlands Activity Center.
Livestock Exhibits - 9:00 am MDT, Premium Sale 4:00 pm MDT- DSU Indoor Arena. The livestock are washed and groomed for their presentations, as the judges view the individual animal projects that the 4-H Youth have worked on throughout the year.
Over 870 Youth exhibits are brought to the event to demostrate and show their projects before many travel to the ND State Fair to compete once again.
The public is encouraged to attend, all events are free! Bring your kids, parents and grandparents to the 4-H Youth Exhibits and Livestock Show.

Southwest Speedway - Mid-Season Championships -IMCA Modifieds, Wissota Street Stocks, Pure Stocks, Thunder Fours: July 1 & 2, 2011 at 7:00 pm - Southwest Speedway located approximately 10 miles south of Dickinson on Highway 22 and 1 mile west on 47 R Street SW.
Admission is $10 Adults, $7 Sr.(55 yr.+), $2 kids (6-12 yr) 5 yr. and under free *Dollar discounts at the Cenex Villard General and Cenex Museum General.
The Mid-Season Championship will feature three classes of racing:
- Miller Lite Pure Stock
- Dakota Community Wissota Street Stock
- Wyoming Casing IMCA Modifieds
1,000 fans are expected to fill the stand for the Mid-Season Championship. The Southwest Speedway provides entertainment for the entire family. Racing fans will be on their feet for their favorite drivers!

Parade: Saturday, July 2, 2011, 10:00 a.m. MDT, downtown Dickinson.
Dickinson's 4th of July parade is consistently one of the top parades in North Dakota over the Independence Day celebration. The Roughrider Commission would like to challenge all businesses, groups and organizations to decorate a float and enter it into the parade.
Get the family together and enjoy the parade of hometown festivities!
