Stock Contractor

Third generation rodeo producer and stock contractor, Korkow Rodeos has been producing rodeos for over 60 years. Pierre, South Dakota, has been home to the Korkow family since the 1920s. Over 90% of Korkow bucking stock is raised at their 20,000 acre ranch, the Anchor K, nestled in the rolling hills of the Missouri River. Their stock is branded on the left hip with the Anchor K. Jim Korkow likes to say it's the brand the bucks!  The Korkow family's "A-Team" stock has been selected by the top cowboys to buck at every National Finals Rodeo since the rodeo's inception in 1959 - a claim only 2 other stock contractors can make. In addition to the NFR, Korkows also have stock nominated annually by the cowboys to perform at the Badlands Circuit Finals Rodeo and the Dodge National Circuit Finals Rodeo.

Korkow Rodeos supplies stock annually to nearly 40 events including PRCA, Indian, college, high school, and youth 4-H rodeos; bull ridings and saddle bronc matches - traveling to as many as 13 states across the country.
