The Roughrider Commission solicits support from the community for sponsorships, ticket sales, etc. for about ten days each year. Through hard work and dedication, they spend the other 355 days giving back to their community.

The Roughrider Commission is a nonprofit organization located in Dickinson, ND. The group is composed of dedicated men and women who volunteer their time, energy, and talent coordinating two events that greatly impact the region’s economy. Annually, the Roughrider Commission hosts "Roughrider Days" and the "Ronald McDonald Cabin Fever Benefit".

Roughrider Days, held in conjunction with the 4th of July, includes a three-day PRCA rodeo, headliner concert, parade, demolition derby and fireworks display.
